Responsible to: Group Chief Executive
Salary range: £48,000-£60,000 (fulltime)
Hours: Full time (negotiable)
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
This is an exciting opportunity to join the outstanding ultra-rare disease charity, the Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (MPS Society), if you want to contribute to a charity advocating for children, adults and their families affected by 25 incredibly rare diseases in a rapidly developing and high profile health field.
We are looking for an outstanding individual, who is passionate about protecting the rights of the most vulnerable. We need a business minded, innovative, strategic thinker who will build on our reputation for innovation and excellence.
This newly-created role of Head of Operations and Governance will be a key member of the organisation’s small dynamic team, responsible for implementing the organisation’s plans for growth and development. You will have a track record of achievement in this field and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong financial and business acumen.
The role would suit a professional with management or CEO experience in the third sector and business seeking new challenges in the charity field. You will bring your skills and experience to a dedicated team that punches well above its weight and are passionate about transforming the individual lives of those suffering from MPS diseases and that of their families in areas of health and social care bringing about long term change.
