About the conference
The MPS Society’s conference is dedicated to sharing the most up to date information available on the clinical management and treatment of MPS and related diseases as well as clinical trials and research. This is an unmissable event for affected individuals and those personally or professionally involved in caring for a child or adult with MPS or a related disease.
For the first time, the MPS Society wants to encourage as many young people and adults aged 15 years and over to attend our first programme focused on the clinical management and needs of young people and adults. Also, supported by family carers and volunteers the MPS Society is able to offer affected children and siblings their own social programme packed full of fun and stimulating activities and outings.
For all members affected by Fabry
Thanks to feedback from the Vision survey we will be holding a separate Fabry conference from 27-29 September 2019. If you would like to stay informed about the Fabry conference you can let us know here.
Information about changes to childcare arrangements
We have made some changes to the childcare we are offering at this year’s conference. We are encouraging all families to bring their own carers for the benefit of the child to have a familiar face and someone who will understand how to respond to their individual needs. A carer, whether it’s a a parent, friend, relative or professional, can attend for free if they are willing to share a room. Please read the Childcare arrangements update more information and get in touch with any questions.
