Charity of the Year
Charity of the Year Partnership scheme can demonstrate your company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, whilst committing to more sustainable support for your chosen charity. It provides opportunities to generate positive publicity with a clear message that can strengthen brand image, reputation and awareness. The scheme can also be a successful tool for building team spirit and boosting staff morale, bringing employees together in an organised, coordinated way. We have plenty of ideas for how to make partnerships successful and memorable and are dedicated to engaging and motivating staff. Adopt us as your Charity of the Year (COTY) and your staff can play a vital part in our work.
Commercial partnerships/ involving your customers
Entering into a commercial partnership with us is a simple yet effective way of showing the community and your customers that you care. We can help you develop your brand awareness, increase customer loyalty as well as increase sales and secure positive PR. There are lots of innovative ways to engage with your customers to raise awareness and funds for the MPS Society. Drop us an email to find out how we can help you.
Sponsorship is a great way to boost your company’s profile and connect with new audiences. You’ll help us raise money and awareness. Whether you sponsor a small local event for us like a Wicked Walkabout or would like to talk to us about bigger sponsorship opportunities please email us?
Payroll giving, also known as give as you earn, is one of the easiest ways for you as an employee to give regularly to the MPS Society plus it’s both flexible and tax efficient.
A matched Giving Scheme is a joint donation by staff and company; employees make an individual donation either a percentage of their salary or a variable amount and the company matches it either ‘£’ for ‘£’ or a ceiling amount they are prepared to give.
- Employee raises £100 (Gift Aid Claim £28)
- Employer matches amount raised £100
- Total donated to MPS Society is £228
If you are an employee undertaking a fundraising activity for the MPS Society, ask your employers if they operate a matched giving scheme. Matched Giving is a great way for companies to motivate their employees and promote the company’s commitment to their Corporate Social Responsibility.
Gifts in Kind
Donating gifts in kind is an excellent way to showcase your company’s products or services whilst also raising vital funds for the MPS Society. Gifts in kind can make excellent prizes for fundraising events and auctions and we will provide a full acknowledgement and our sincere thanks. Email us if you think you can help.
Corporate social responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about how companies manage the business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society. Although the present economic climate may look like a bad time to be deciding on your company’s social responsibility, it is actually the best time to promote your company’s CSR image, improve your reputation and regain consumer confidence. And of course we can help you maximise on the positive publicity! Less obvious, but just as important, employers have also found that:
- By nominating a Charity of the Year, staff morale is greatly improved and employees take pride in their employer. Social events also take on a new buzz.
- Our charity challenge events can be ideal both for motivation and for team building
- Cause-related marketing can improve sales, brand awareness and image
- Payroll Giving helps staff to see you as an employer that cares
- Sponsoring an event or project is a great opportunity for positive publicity
- Enabling your staff to volunteer for us can be very motivating for them
- Donating goods or services in kind is often the most effective way to support us
