About the Event
This workshop is facilitated by Stephen Johnson, raremindsCIC psychotherapist.
Living with a rare condition is challenging for everyone. It often raises particular issues for men around juggling roles and responsibilities, how to move between carer and partner/parent, and manage different coping strategies or communication styles.

You’ll hear from an experienced male therapist about stresses unique to men, whilst exploring common issues and themes between partners, and parents of those living with rare conditions. Issues such as:
· You said WHAT?!’ understanding different communication styles
· Carer, partner or parent: which role when?
· Managing uncertainty
· Worries about the future
· Juggling roles at home and work
