Bereaved family support

Respectful and compassionate care for a child or young person and their family members at the end of life, ensures their physical, psychological, social needs are met.

Ways we can help

If you would like to talk to someone confidentially for as long as you need, you can call our helpline. Our support & advocacy team understand how hard it can be to talk about what you are going through and are patient and empathetic.

Create a Remembrance tribute

You can create your own special remembrance website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos. By creating a Remembrance tribute you can also collect donations in your loved one's name, organise events and celebrate anniversaries.

Created by bereavement experts, GriefChat connects you directly to a specially trained bereavement counsellor by clicking on the GriefChat box below.

GriefChat counsellors are experienced in supporting bereaved people and will listen to your story, explore how your grief is affecting you and help you to find any additional support you might need.

GriefChat is a completely free service and is available Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm. You can email GriefChat outside of these hours or contact the MPS Society for support.
