The Fabry community is often asked to contribute to research that doesn’t always tackle what is important to you or that doesn’t get to the heart of the issues. We want to change this by hosting a conference that will include exciting talks and discussions on what is meaningful and useful to the Fabry community, and updates on innovations and current research helpful to everyday life. We will also provide the opportunity for the community to contribute to research by taking part in surveys, interviews and focus groups over the course of the conference.

Topics covered during the conference will include talks centred around health and wellbeing such as managing symptoms with diet and exercise, mental health, mens health, reproduction and many more interesting talks by experts that aim to empower the community positively.

We are even working on an event where you yourselves will get to choose what Fabry research gets funded, in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ situation. This is all about giving the power back to you, and making sure that going forward, research is driven by your needs and what is important to you.

This conference will also be a fantastic opportunity for the community to get together and enjoy some social events as well as relaxing and unwinding together.
