Online mindfulness course with Claire Garthwaite

Claire Garthwaite is a parent of children with MPS, a doctor and mindfulness teacher. She has spoken at our national conference, held workshops and produced videos giving tips on self-care. With MPS Society, Claire is running two online mindfulness courses that will follow an 8-week programme aimed at those with a long-term condition to help relieve pain, reduce stress and improve wellbeing and for carers or parents of those with MPS, Fabry or related conditions.

Online mindfulness course for carers or parents


An 8-week online mindfulness course for carers or parents of those with MPS, Fabry or related diseases. The course will run on Thursday mornings, 10am-12pm, on the following dates:

Online mindfulness course for those with a long-term condition


An 8-week online mindfulness course for those with a long-term condition to help relieve pain, reduce stress and improve wellbeing. This course will run on Wednesday mornings, 10am-12pm, on the following dates:

24 June


To take part you will need a computer or tablet with a good internet connection on which you can run Zoom. If you haven’t used Zoom software before, it is easy to use but you will need to download it the first time you use it.
