Newly diagnosed family get together

Share:

A chance for new families to meet up and have a fun day. This event is for new members who have received a diagnosis since January 2020 and their immediate family. Join us for a fun social and make lasting friendships with families who share similar experiences. This will be a relaxed event attended by members of our Support and Advocacy Team.

Sally, one of our support officers, shares why meeting with other families in similar circumstances is so important:

“A fun social event can take the focus off the many health and medical issues associated with these conditions and can provide much needed downtime and help ease new families into the community.”
